Troy Hendricks

Director, Experimentation and Analysis, Office of Naval Research Global

Mr. Troy Hendricks began his government service at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Carderock Division in 2000, where he spent time in the Survivability and Weapon Effects Division, Signature Department, and Naval Architecture and Engineering Department.


During his time at Carderock, Mr. Hendricks was detailed to the OPNAV staff where he served as a project engineer in the Joint Campaign Analysis branch (N816) providing support to the World Class Modeling initiative. Mr. Hendricks also supported the Office of Naval Research (ONR) as a project officer where he led a Science and Technology portfolio in the Expeditionary Maneuver Department and then the Mission Capable, Persistent, and Survivable Naval Platforms Department.


Since 2021, Mr. Hendricks has served as the Director of Operational Experimentation and Analysis in ONR Global. In this role, he sponsors experimentation and analysis activities to provide decision-quality information to the Naval Research Enterprise (NRE) leadership to inform future S&T investments and transitions.


Mr. Hendricks earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University.
