Muhammad Faisal Abbashi Hi (M)

Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) was commissioned in Operations Branch of Pakistan Navy on 01 July 1991. He specialized in Principal Warfare from Pakistan and Mine Warfare from Belgium. The officer has in his credit a vast operational and staff experience. His salient Operational appointments at sea include Executive Officer of MCMV PNS MUNSIF, PNS SHAHJAHAN (DDG) and PNS KHAIBAR (DDG). The Officer also had privilege of Commanding MCMV PNS MUNSIF and DDG PNS KHAIBAR. The Officer’s instructional and staff tenures include Instructor at School of Naval Operations, Directing Staff at PN War College, Staff Officer Operations at Naval Headquarters, Senior Staff Officer (Operations) to Commander 18th Destroyer Squadron, Director Naval Operations, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) at NHQ and Directing Staff at NDU. After Promoted to Flag Rank, he has been Officer Sea Training at Karachi and Director General Naval Intelligence at NHQ, Before his current appointment as Commander Pakistan Fleet he was Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) at NHQ. The Flag Officer is a graduate of Pakistan Navy War College, US Naval War College Newport and National Defence University, Islamabad. The officer holds Masters Degree in National Security and War Studies. In recognition to his meritorious services in Pakistan Navy, the officer was conferred with Military Award of Hilal-e-Imtiaz. Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi is happily married and blessed with two daughters.
