Michael Widmann is an active-duty U.S. Navy officer with over 20 years of distinguished service specializing in leadership, cyber defense, and strategic operations. Currently serving as the Defensive Cyber Operations Branch Lead at NATO Maritime Command, Michael brings a wealth of experience in coordinating multinational teams and managing complex security initiatives. With previous roles including Strategy Branch Head at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCDCOE) and Project Manager at the NATO C2 CoE, Michael has consistently driven interagency collaboration to improve security operations.

An expert in ISO 27001 and cybersecurity, Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and a Master’s in Space Systems Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School.
