Interceptigon One-Way Attack UAV and USV Launched By Greek Firm

Greek defence firm Delian Alliance Industries (DAI) has launched two uncrewed drones — an aerial system and a surface vessel — designed for attritable coastal defence missions.
As per a recent press statement by the company, its new drones are “attritable, concealed, autonomous one way effectors (OWE) designed to give Europe and allied sovereign nations a decisive advantage in anti-access/area denial (A2/AD).”
The firm is launching two separate platforms: Interceptigon-A, a fixed-wing uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) and Interceptigon-N, a stealth unmanned surface vessel (USV).
Interceptigon-A’s letterbox-style launch platform can be hidden largely buried in natural coastal terrain and can launch swarm attacks against land and maritime surface threats.
Interceptigon-N is designed to lie concealed on the seabed before use. Once launched, it ascends to the surface and navigates towards its target.
As per the firm, both platforms have been designed to carry “strong kinetic energy and explosive payloads” and can act independently or in concert as a swarm system.
The firm describes its new systems as “one-way effectors that offer distributed, resilient kill chains at a fraction of the cost of traditional platforms. These systems deliver asymmetric advantages through mass deployment, targeting high-value assets with attritable units that can be fielded at scale.”
Company CEO Dimitrios Kottas commented: “We built the Interceptigon series to reflect the realities of asymmetric warfare, where cost-effective, autonomous systems can deliver strategic effects disproportionate to their size and price. We are not in the business of building traditional weapons.”
He added: “We’re building autonomous denial systems for sovereign nations defending their territorial integrity or exclusive economic zones (EEZ) that don’t have the luxury of strategic depth or time. Interceptigon is about readiness, resilience, and sovereignty.”
