EM Solutions develops innovative microwave and on-the-move radio and SATCOM products and systems that enable broadband telecommunications services to deployed Defence end users.

The Company’s principal activity is the design, assembly, test, and support of Naval Maritime SATCOM systems that utilise a broad portfolio of intellectual property assets including antennas, tracking and microwave RF subsystems that have been organically developed over the past 25 years.  These subsystems are supplied as standalone products to global defence prime contractors and system integrators.  

From its Australian manufacturing facility EM Solutions also offers bespoke engineering and build-to-print services for complex microwave and RF subsystems.

EM Solutions has mulitple long term contracts in place with the Australian Department of Defence to modernise and sustain SATCOM systems across the Australian Naval fleet comprising new and existing vessels.   These contracts are based on the ongoing supply of the 2m class King Cobra and 1m class Cobra Maritime SATCOM systems that support simultaneous X and Ka Band operations and can be confirgured for multi-orbit operation.   

The global customer base is rapidly expanding with the supply of Maritime SATCOM systems to multiple European / NATO Navy’s and the Company has established a service centre in the Netherlands  to support these customers.  

EM Solutions engineering team is continually expanding its intellectual property portfolio and regularly partners with defence and research organisations to support emerging requirements.
