Captec

Captec is an international group focused on designing, manufacturing, and integrating specialised computing platforms and complex systems, optimised for Defence requiring high levels of reliability and performance for critical, certified, and/or challenging applications.

We design and manufacture ruggedised computer and server platforms, specifically for challenging defence applications, such as counter-UAS, electronic warfare (EW) systems and command and control solutions. The rugged servers are designed and formally qualified to required military standards, some of which include MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G, for use in harsh environments.

Our 19" Rack enclosures have been supplied to the Naval sector and used across multiple ships and applications.We design and supply ruggedised, EMC compliant racks which leverage the availability of COTS IT equipment with bespoke equipment trays whilst ensuring reliability in the field. Custom cable management systems and cable supply with front access for ease of serviceability. Design of custom power distribution unit to support single and three-phase equipment needs and MIL-STD interconnects.. 

Captec Subsystems Engineering provide metalwork fabrication, paint finishing, CNC machining and electromechanical assemblies for the defence market.  We can support and advise on bespoke designs and manage small and large volume build to print requirements.
