Bartington Instruments designs and manufactures high-performance components and equipment deployed in strategic land, sea, and air defence systems, and especially in magnetic signature measurements and mitigation of vessels.

Our fluxgate magnetometers and magnetic susceptibility measuring instruments are used around the world to detect diverse threats, including weapons, personnel, vehicles, unexploded ordnance, and landmines. Other key applications include the airborne and seaborne search for submarines and divers, perimeter, border and harbour surveillance, mine countermeasures, UAV navigation, and system compass calibration. We also develop advanced components for integration into leading-edge defence systems.
